Adverbs are in the same class of words as adjectives, so they are also formed with the suffix
-i except when modifying other adverbs or adjectives where the suffix is doubled to -iri.
Adverbs are placed directly before the word they qualify.
- mo rapidi mi kin fu domo.
- I quick before go to home.
- I went home quickly.
Common Adverbs
- ti = then; (at) that time
- ci = now; (at) this time
- mi = before; previously; earlier; in the past
- fi = later (on); afterward; in the future
- gi = always
- pi = possibly
- ni = not
- ui = somehow
- hi = how; in what manner
